At 75, on Sunday Aug 2nd, one of the coolest dudes of all time passed on. He was on Sun Records at the same time as Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash – he recorded this and Flying Saucer Rock n Roll and many a great Rockabilly gem. Here he is at 69 performing at the Old Style Weekend – this cat still hadn’t ,missed a beat. Most guys are not this cool at 28 much less 69 – R.I.P. you great cat – Billy Lee Riley.
