I was able to chat with the stars of this film via a zoom press conference and the underlying theme was this is the type of movie we need. A Disney film that will disconnect us from the reality of 2020 and for a moment get transported into a world where Godmothers and fairies are very much plausible. Jillian Bell was stellar in this role as Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the importance of a fairy godmother. What would you ask your fairy godmother for?
