While sauntering down the MTV Movie Awards red carpet, Grace V was pulled aside by Perez Hilton’s protégé La Coacha. At her request Grace V sang a few lines of “When the Lights Go Down,” and Perez loved it so much that the song became the soundtrack for his red carpet video montage.
