After the press day with Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield and Dane DeHaan they participated in a community improvement project with the Hialeah Gardens Community Improvement Organization (CIO). The CIO incorporated the volunteer activity with their Hands-On Service Learning organization, a group that encourages kids to incorporate what they learn in school in their volunteer efforts. Throughout the day, the following activities were completed at
Hialeah Gardens Elementary School:
A Veggie/Fruit Garden addition
Improving conditions of outdoor basketball courts
Painting the “Be Amazing” wall mural
Adding bushes/hedges along the school fence for privacy
Painting the playground area
