One Day Intensive Acting Workshop

How do you walk into an audition, onto a stage, or in front of the camera, and share who you are? This is a challenge artists face everyday.
This workshop will provide actors with tools to develop the technical means to physically and emotionally connect to language, themselves, and others. Through vocal, movement, acting, and writing exercises, actors will begin the profound journey of truthfully expressing and resonating their own stories through the representation of character.

Jennifer De Castroverde
Jennifer is a SAG and Equity actress who has worked in film, television, and theater for over 20 years. She received her MFA in Acting from the University of California San Diego. She is a former Assistant Professor at Florida International University, where she taught courses in acting, voice/speech/movement, and dramatic literature analysis. On stage, Jennifer has worked at critically-acclaimed companies such as A Noise Within and Circus Theatricals in Los Angeles, as well as appearing on the La Jolla Playhouse stage in San Diego. In Miami, Jennifer has worked with Actor’s Playhouse, Area Stage, Mad Cat, La MaTeodora, and is a founding member of the late 3rd St Black Box theatre.
She currently resides in Alexandria, VA.
