Ay Julio. in 2019 we couldn’t get enough of Julio’s Los Espooky’s, (an HBO show also starring another of our faves, Fred Armisted) and we at ñ dug Problemista, the 2023 film he wrote, directed and co-produced. And now we sing the praises of the  Fantasmas, which he created, directed, wrote and stars in – how can we put it? it’s Queer, it’s surreal – its… as la gente de NPR dicen en el headline,  “Gay hamsters. A litigious elf. A cowgirl toilet. Welcome to Julio Torres’ ‘Fantasmas’.
