It’s about time a voice like Joe Cardona‘s was heard in Miami’s local media. Measured, knowledgeable, current, with the pulse of a people – and an urgent message. Today’s Miami Herald has a great op-ed piece on Human Rights in Cuba – and how certain folk choose to ignore basic abuse time after time – we urge you to look at it and applaud Joe and everyone standing up for Human Rights – because people deserve the dignity to govern themselves, assemble publicly, and print and read what they will – and to deny them that – is criminal. Cardona is right, those who aid in denying free speech – should be called out for it.
