Miami is preparing for a major Fourth of July weekend, with fireworks, drone shows, concerts, family activities, and waterfront celebrations planned across the city.
According to Jesse Scott from Miami New Times, events will take place in several Miami-Dade locations, including Bayfront Park, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables, Doral, Hialeah, Homestead, Lummus Park, North Beach, and Tropical Park. Many of the celebrations are free and include live music, food vendors, kids’ activities, and fireworks displays.
Bayfront Park will host one of the biggest events with “250 United: America’s 250th Celebration,” featuring live performances, a FIFA World Cup Fan Zone, food vendors, a drone show, and fireworks over Biscayne Bay. Other major spots include the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, where guests can enjoy a patriotic concert followed by a drone and fireworks show, and Lummus Park in Miami Beach, where fireworks will light up the oceanfront at 9 p.m.
From family-friendly park celebrations to beachside fireworks, Miami residents and visitors have plenty of options to celebrate Independence Day across South Florida.
