A sad day for rock n roll and pop music yesterday as both Sixto Rodriguez and Robbie Robertson passed away. Robbie’s death is a sad one for all lovers of rock n roll, and Mr. Rodriguez’s one brings to and end one of the greatest stories of talent and inspiration in show biz history. The Oscar winning documentary Searching For Sugarman is a great place to start if you don’t know Rodriguez’s music. It’s truly unlike any doc on popular music you’re likely to see. We encourage you to seek it out.
