Brian Lewis from the NY Post writes about former Louisville standout Mikel Brown Jr. officially heading to Brooklyn after being selected sixth overall by the Nets in the 2026 NBA Draft. Despite battling injuries during his freshman season, Brown impressed scouts with his elite scoring ability, playmaking, and long-range shooting. The highly touted guard averaged 18.2 points and 4.7 assists per game and is viewed as one of the most talented guards in this year’s draft class.
