As the 2026 World Cup approaches, one Mexican-American creative is helping define how the U.S. Men’s National Team will show up on the global stage. Yazmin Rosete, a senior designer for Nike Football, played an instrumental role in developing the 2026 U.S. men’s team kit — bringing together sport, identity, and storytelling.

Rosete worked closely with USMNT players to help create home and away kits that reflect the team’s legacy, evolution, and diverse identity. For Rosete, the project is also personal. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, she sees connections between her own story and the stories of many players on the team.

This is bigger than a jersey. It’s a reminder that Latino creatives are not just participating in global sports culture — they are designing it. Click here for more.
