David Lebatard #LEBO was a great friend to us at Generation ñ and we were among his biggest fans and proud we got to collaborate with him quite a few times over the years. Besides being a wonderful , unique artist, he was a brilliant, hilarious, thoughtful, and soulful person. He would fill you up with good energy every time you ran into him. David was always a great friend to us and we love him and his family a great deal. Sending lots of love and all our prayers. We were lucky to know David. 
His painting Abuelita’s Cafe Con Leche is pictured here, along with some work in our ñ magazine and our humor book, as well as some logo work for WAMI when it launches in the 90s. We stayed in touch over the years, and I watched his success, including murals on the sides of NCL ships and his work for the World Cup, and iconic with Spam All Stars and so many beautiful music oriented projects. Our heart goes out to his beautiful family who we’ve also been blessed to know. Love and appreciation for this unique, soulful, fantastic human.
