Google is putting Latin pop in the spotlight for Hispanic Heritage Month. Its September 23 Doodle, The Art of Latin Pop, turns the familiar search logo into a colorful tribute to the genre’s sound and visual energy.
The design pairs neon-lit bongos and a trumpet with letters built from beat sequencer pads. Those details connect traditional instrumentation with contemporary music-making, reflecting a genre that brings salsa, cumbia, merengue, and other Latin styles into pop.
For Generation Ñ, it is a reminder of how deeply Latino creativity shapes everyday culture—even the page millions of people use to start searching. Google also links the celebration to its Los Himnos playlist on YouTube Music.
