Colombian singer Manuel Turizo is preparing to bring his music to an international football audience. Remezcla reports that he will headline the halftime show at the NFL’s Madrid game on November 8.

The game is scheduled to bring the Cincinnati Bengals and Atlanta Falcons to the Bernabéu Stadium. In comments covered by Remezcla, Turizo described the opportunity with excitement and said the halftime setting calls for a different kind of performance.

Known for moving between pop, reggaetón and tropical sounds, Turizo also spoke about the scale of the Spanish-speaking music community and the connections that already exist among its audiences.

The upcoming show brings together sports and Colombian talent on a stage in Spain, giving fans another moment to watch Latin music reach listeners beyond a traditional concert setting.
