Lin-Manuel Miranda is preparing another Broadway chapter. Warriors, co-written with Eisa Davis, is scheduled to begin previews March 9, 2027, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York, with an official opening set for April 8.

Good Morning America reports that Jasmine Cephas Jones is among the announced cast members, reuniting with the Hamilton creator after her work in that musical’s original Broadway company. The cast also includes Amber Gray, Gizel Jiménez and other performers.

Inspired by the 1979 film The Warriors and its source novel, the project follows a fictional New York gang drawn into a dangerous journey. Miranda and Davis previously released a concept album in 2024.

For theater fans, the announcement puts dates on a new collaboration from a Puerto Rican creative voice whose work has helped broaden the stories and sounds reaching Broadway audiences.
