At just 16, Mexican-American midfielder Paxon Ruffin has reached a milestone in professional fútbol. According to Marcos Hassan’s reporting for Remezcla, Ruffin made his first-team debut for CF Monterrey on October 18, becoming the youngest player to represent Rayados in Liga MX.

He entered in the 77th minute of Monterrey’s 2–1 victory over Pachuca. The appearance marked a step forward for a player who developed in the club’s youth system before earning an opportunity with the senior squad.

Born in the United States, Ruffin is eligible to represent both Mexico and the U.S. internationally and has already played for Mexico’s youth teams. His debut gives fans another young talent to follow as Mexican-American players build careers across borders.
