Maluma traded the stage for a classroom and gave students a lesson in turning ideas into businesses.

As Marcos Hassan reports for Remezcla, the Colombian singer joined Julian Shapiro-Barnum’s Celebrity Substitute for a visit to second graders in New York City’s Spanish Harlem. He shared how selling homemade sandwiches as a teenager helped him get started, then encouraged the students to develop business projects of their own.

The visit connected a familiar music star with an everyday lesson: creativity can become something you build, share and grow.
