Mexican actor and filmmaker Gael García Bernal is bringing his third directorial feature, Hombre al agua, to two of the world’s most prestigious film festivals. The film will make its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival before heading to the Toronto International Film Festival.

García Bernal stars in, co-writes, directs, and produces the film. Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin joins the cast and serves as an executive producer, marking his return to acting entirely in Spanish after more than two decades.
